| Educated in England and the United States of
America, he qualified as an Osteopath and Chiropractor, then gained a Ph.D. in physical
medicine. Dr. Hawkins is a current member of the American Chiropractic Association and a
life member of the British Guild of Drugless Practitioners. Mostly all of the things we have come to expect in modern day weight reducing and drugless pain management techniques, originated in his physical medicine practice. It all began on 16 January 1948, which was the day Dr. Hawkins perfected his first (EBA) weight reducing machine. And, the electro-pad slimming concept was born. A few years later, Dr. Hawkins invented his first electronic pain relief machine. Since those early years, his machines have progressively become much more sophisticated and are now manufactured with special computer chips, programmed by Dr. Hawkins with his own secret data. In 1953, having created a scientific, medically sound slimming system together with his weight reducing machines, Dr. Hawkins launched his now world famous franchise operation under the trade name: Hawkins Clinics Ltd, which rapidly grew into a highly respected, international organization, that quickly spread throughout England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Australia, Borneo, New Zealand, India, Turkey, Syria, Israel, Canada and Hong Kong. Hawkins International, is the holding company of all Hawkins interests, world-wide, and although this company originated in England, it has now relocated to Johannesburg South Africa, where the Hawkins machines are manufactured under the supervision of British, Electronic Engineers. The directors of Hawkins International are: Dr. Sebastian Hawkins and his son Mr. Kyran Hawkins.
